Fresh air vents

I,m considering cutting out 2 air vents under the windscreen - one above 
the drinks tray, the other over the panel approx 21/2 x 1/2 in size.

I believe someone out there has done this and gets good results.

Are there any "off the shelf" vent controls available?

Would be greatful for any info.
