Air vents

I,m considering cutting out air vents under the windscreen - one above 
the drinkd tray, the other over the panel both approx 21/2 x 1/2 inches 
in size.

I believe someone out there has already done this and gets good results.

Are there any "off the shelf" controls available for this size of vent?

Would be greatful for any info.
