No. It was more like a dark sludge.

I don't know the answer to that. As the aircraft was imported, all maintenance
has to be done by a certified engineering organisation so we just handed the
plane over to them to change the filters.

It is early spring here with average daytime temperatures running around 16c on
the ground. The engine did have a long period of ground running in the past 20
hours and, due the naturefact that its a test aircraft, rarely spends more than
ten minutes at any one engine setting. The 912 is bearing up well so far but we
have a 912S sitting in a box in the hangar!
