Hi! Paul
I guess you mean that the nut end of the bolt sticks through the inside and
a few threads of the bolt after tightening collide with the ply wood that is
glassed to the rear tank bulkhead?
whilst you can shorten them you must have a clear two threads through the
stiff nut. Any further interference remove some of the ply wood to let the
bolt into it.
I THINK !!!!!

Subject: Tie rod
Anyone out there either recently fitted the tie rod linking rear lift/drag
pin sockets or can remember doing it. I'm assuming that I need to cut down
the EURO 44 and 45 bolts as at present they stick out way through W34 but
there is nothing in the manual about shorteniong them. If I don't cut them
down they will interfere with the plywood shim between the gusset plates.
Any thoughts?
