Shure does.... but I think the real question is basically how many more
ponies do you get out of a 914 @ 16k ft in Winter (-10C @ SL) and Summer
(+30C @ SL) with an intercooler. Take that number and figure out the net
speed increases.
I'd love to know, but I don't have the info to be able to figure it out.

It's really just about getting as many molecules of air as possible into
the cylinder, add a turbo and you get higher pressure but also a higher
temperature arising from the increase of pressure plus the friction from
the compressor. The intercooler lowers the temperature again so the same
volume of air at x pressure has a lower temperature than without the
intercooler and therefore has more molecules....
Does that make sense?
