the internal chamber between the upper and lower bearings. But this
chamber has
a large open slot at the rear, so preventing the build up of pressure
needed to
force fresh grease through the bearings.

This appears to be a good way of lubricating the rear tyre but a less good
way
of lubricating the fork bearings.

Is anyone using this ? Am I missing something or can I achieve a weight
reduction ? :-) [I don't have the roll pin in the slot as I am using
the
GS conversion.]<

If you are using the GS tailwheel mod the slot is no longer required. I
filled it up with Redux flox so that the grease only comes out at the top
and bottom of the tailwheel fork fitting.
