>Tailplane Pitch > Alan I know what the book says but I always recommend 13 degrees of up and 4 or 5 down. You need the up with a monowheel to achieve a decent amount of down pressure on the tail wheel during landing roll out. This is the most likely reason for loss of yaw control on the ground, usually as the speed drops to 15 kts or so and the rudder is less effective. Graham --- |
