Alan,
        I have the Mono config and a 912 S.  My battery is on the
co-pilot foot well and a heavy panel.  My CG was still in the sweet spot.
I think you will not need to add any weight to the tail.  My total weight
was 890# and with the electric prop is 10 more pounds.  Still in the
proper CG range. Even with no fuel and me as the pilot, it does not go
out of forward CG.
