Pete=2C
I just pulled a tank out of an 8 year old Europa with Redux/Araldite/Epibon
d 420 A/B and it is holding up very well.
10% Ethynol Mogas can soften the outer layer just as it does most sealers l
ike Pro Seal=2C and the bond still holds at a 10% ratio. Keep in mind=2C t
hat Redux cured below 75F or until a full week will not be totally cured=2C
but will hold. Huntsman produces product data sheets with characteristic
reaction to chemicals.
My tests in the shop use the Redux to hold various acrylics/urethanes to te
st for fuel tubing=2C and the Redux holds up perfectly for me in a week lon
g test.
As for soldering=2C I use a scotch bright cleaning=2C flux and a torch to s
older=2C just like I do with copper water supply lines...No problem. But I
always use Redux to seat the gauze in the fuel fitting.
