Thanks Graham, I just thought I was "lucky".- When you are flying a "one
wheeled taildragger" you are always one landing from disaster !!!!!!!!!!!!!

oivio@rwm.fi>=0A=0ADear Jim=0A=0ARead careful my post: I like to use pressu
re 2,0 - 2,2 bars. 2,1 bar = 30,45 PSI. So we land with same pressures. P
ressure - low or high - is not a reason.=0A=0AWhat is your tube brand name?
=0AWhat is your tube and tyre size?=0A=0AUntil I will get a reason and solu
tion I am going to do same as Paul is doing: changeing regularly tube. Make
s me sense to change it every year (= in my case every 50 hrs /about 50 -
100 landings. I never can do it in 30 minutes but so what. Tube is very ch
eap. For example yeasterday I spent 6 hrs fighting with that problem with m
y wife and that newspaperman. That is 18 hrs + all the extra fees + 400 km
driving car. That must be same as buying let us say 100 pcs of tubes.=0A=0A
BTW also I use masses of baby bottom talcum. That delicate scent is a bit e
mbarrassing...=0A=0ARaimo=0A=0A-----Alkuper=E4inen viesti----- From: acroji

owheel drivers=0A=0AFollowing this thread today... I have a few commits to
throw to the forum...I notice that Europa requires very- low tire pressur
e in their manual....=0A=0AI also noticed today that quiet a few monowheel
drivers are having flat's....I suspect that with the low air pressure, when
you land the sidewals are flexing due to low air pressure...this is probab
ly "pinching the inner tube" and then the tire goes flat....=0A=0AI have al
ways kept 32 PSI in the tire. IN 10 years, and two tires and tubes, I have
never had a flat....Yes I know I have been blessed by the good luck god..
=0A=0AThank about it with 32 P S In the tube the sidewalls are not flexing.
.....Just my thought's on this matter....=0A=0AJim Brown=0AMonowheel.......

so perhaps this can be accounted for by different inner tubes being=0A> av
ailable. The failure I get is that the side wall of the inner tube get=0A>
small splits in it due to chafing.- I typically run my tire at about 24 p
si,=0A> which is higher than the recommended by Europa. BTW I do use talcum

impossible to move.- It happen to me at a large airport once=0A> which g
ot the airport authority excited because they had to shut the runway=0A> do
wn and divert all of the 737's to a shorter runway.- I now carry a jackin
g=0A> block, tools and a spare inner tube with me and I can now do the chan
