I should also add that the Europa manual calls for 18 psi in the tire.  That is 
quite low and if you are doing multiple landings (for example training), heat 
will build up and the tube will fail, especially if you are operating on 
pavement.  

It is much better to run at 26 to 28 psi. This isn't difficult on grass 
runways, but on pavement, the tire will not grip as well as at lower pressures 
so there is a tendency to lose directional control.  You have to develop the 
skills to control the direction of the plane on the ground with the rudder.  

An aid I was shown, is to sit in the seat as normal and have an assistant 
measure the distance from the center of the plane to your nose.  Transfer this 
to a mark on the windshield.  I use a small triangle mark so the bottom of the 
triangle is aligned with the end of the runway and the top of the triangle is 
the distance from the centerline of the airplane.  I use this on landing and 
find it really helps, especially since my left eye is dominate so I need the 
assistance to look down the runway instead of over the cowl.
