| Thank you to everyone who passed on their experience of this difficult mod. I particularly appreciated those who managed to inject a little humour. It helps to keep the morale up. I am a little concerned that using the knife and hammer technique will not produce an accurately shaped circle. I suppose that it will be good enough if taken slowly. I have since spoken to my inspector who advocates using a 1mm bit to chain drill the perimeter. A little practice on a piece of scrap material with both techniques will probably be the answer.
