I totally agree if you are near the ground at the time. If however you are
at altitutude over the sea or inhospitable terrain then, as and when you
have spare capacity, anything which keeps the engine running has got to be
worth a try. I have also included the primer bulb due to my non-standard
configuration of the fuel system. I shall see how it performs before
deciding on its viability. However nothing ventured nothing gained.
