Hi, Martin.
With using 100LL in the Rotax, have you had any lead related problems? It seems
to me that a kitplane that is designed to use auto fuel should have fuel system
components to deal with the formulation?
That said, I wonder if the UK is saddled with the wonderful EPA mandated witches
brew of crap that passes for gas here in the Midwest. All of Chicago's smog
blows up here to Wisconsin and the EPA (that's Environmental Protection Agency
for those not familiar) says we have a problem, so they mandate this wonderful
*reformulated* gasoline, loaded with MTBE, alcohol, and other great chemicals
to *clean it up*. Hmmm, I'd rather have the lead....
