I should have deduced that from their web site. Guess you're saying
that an affordable EFIS that's minimally duplicates what a gyro does
ain't real soon.
I've been compiling a mental list of truly obsolete aircraft
technology. So far I've got just tail skid, vacuum venturi, spoked
wheels, the old Cessna pull-to-engage starter (arguable), and
four-course radio range (but not just yet its high-tech cousin, ADF).
No visual cork-float fuel quantity indicator has failed yet, and the
Wright Flyer had a canard. Whatever's behind this phenomenon is
prologue for a quality, affordable EFIS? :-)
